REDISTRIBUTING SURPLUS FOOD TO THOSE IN NEED
Volunteers at Eastern Food Rescue have the satisfaction of working with a group of committed, like-minded people to give back to the community while also helping the environment.

Our volunteers collect food that would otherwise go to landfill and distribute it to those in need via our daily market and open-access pantries. We also partner with charitable organisations who work directly with people in need.

We have strong working relationships with local supermarkets who provide 1 tonne of surplus food per day and through our team of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers, we make this food available to the community.
